Are Christians today struggling for lack of information or lack of
understanding? Relevance of this query coincides with the large number of
churches in North America that are dying, stagnant or in decline. Is it
because messages from the Lord are rare, that his word is no longer
relevant, or is it that intellectual knowledge supersedes spiritual
understanding. Jesus said to some religious leaders, “You search the
Scriptures because you believe they give you eternal life. But the Scriptures
point to me! Yet you refuse to come to me so that I can give
you this eternal life. [John 5:39, 40]
